Tramadol is a pain-reliever. It is used when there is a necessity of treatment 24 hours a day in cases of chronic, moderate or severe pain. The drug possesses narcotic effect. This fact makes Tramadol inappropriate for people who suffer from drug or alcohol addiction.
Simultaneous usage of Tramadol with other medications may cause unwanted effects. Taking this drug with antidepressants, nausea medicine or muscle relaxers may provoke convultions. If you feel weakness, slow heartbeat, cold skin or shallow breathing get medical help as soon as possible. It may happen if you have taken too much of the drug.
Tramadol requires extreme responsibility not only in the way of its usage but also in its storage. Do not give Tramadol to anyone else, especially someone who may suffer from drug addiction or alcoholism. Keep the medicine in some safe place to be sure that nobody else has an access to it.
Take the whole pill with a full glass of water. You may take Tramadol with or without food but make sure that you do it at the same time every day. The drug may affect your reactions and ability of thinking clearly. Be careful when you drive or doing something that requires maximum attention.
